Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -
Only this, and nothing more.'
The Raven, Edgar Allan Poe
This poem gives me goosebumps! I've always loved it! That's why I was so excited when I saw The Raven inscribed as a design for the Nite Owl DSP. I placed it one the side, along with the newspaper print one. I couldn't cut them up. I really had no idea what I was saving it for, so eventually:
Nite Owl DSP, Very Vanilla, Tangerine Tango, Dark & Dreary Stamp Set, Raven Lace Trim
There, in bold, the very words that make me shiver.
I did not have a ticket corner punch when I made this card, I used my scalloped circle punch to snip the edges.
Oh! And my two children, Toil & Trouble!
These were lots of fun to make, since I wanted to keep certain sections of the DSP. However, I don't really give away Halloween cards. Will I save it forever? Oh well, it brings be satisfaction for now!
Thanks for stopping by.
